My name is Clarian Murphy and I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s graduate from Walden University. I completed my internship with Choosing Empowerment and began my journey to licensure. I believe in showing up as my whole self, both personally and professionally, so you feel safe doing the same.
My journey into this field was born out of lived experience. Like many women, I’ve walked through postpartum depression, fertility challenges, and the quiet identity shifts that motherhood brings. Those seasons revealed how isolating healing can feel when the world tells you to stay strong while you’re silently unraveling. That pain didn’t break me. It woke me up. It pushed me toward Cyclebreaking.
Because of that calling, I now lead the Whole Mamas Project, a healing space for women reclaiming their power, their voice, and their softness. I also run the Cyclebreaking Whole Mamas Facebook community, where mothers come together to unlearn survival mode, release inherited patterns, and build healthier legacies for themselves and their children. These aren’t just support groups. They are Cyclebreaking circles where women step into emotional liberation with community at their back.
Maternal mental health is the heartbeat of my work, but my reach extends far beyond that. I walk with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity questions, and the weight of feeling stuck. Whether you’re a new parent, a student, a working professional, or a soul trying to rebuild, I’m here to hold space for the truth you may not have been allowed to speak.
I’m especially committed to supporting disenfranchised communities and rural populations. I understand how systemic oppression, generational trauma, and limited access to care shape the way we manage pain. My goal is to offer a culturally responsive, affirming environment where people feel seen, honored, and empowered to break cycles that were never theirs to carry.
My counseling style is down to earth, collaborative, and real. I value honest conversation, gentle challenge, humor that eases the heaviness, and empathy grounded in lived understanding. I provide therapy under the supervision of Shawnnell Batiste at Choosing Empowerment, and I am honored to walk beside every person who chooses this journey of resilience and rebirth.
If you’re overwhelmed, unseen, or simply ready to stop repeating what hurt you, I’m here. Let’s take the next step in your Cyclebreaking together.
