Hi, I’m Elon Simmons, a student at Walden University pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have always felt drawn to helping others, even from a young age. Mental health was something my family valued and talked about openly, and my own experience with therapy since I was 10 years old helped me understand the importance of having a safe, supportive person to talk to.

I am interested in working with people from all backgrounds and supporting clients through a wide range of concerns and life experiences. I believe that connection is an important part of healing and personal growth. I am no stranger to criticism, setbacks, and failure, and these experiences have taught me the importance of creating a space where people can be honest, vulnerable, and accepted without judgment.

When working with clients, you can expect me to approach our conversations with honesty, openness, and compassion. My goal is to meet you where you are, listen to your experiences, and work alongside you as you navigate challenges and create meaningful change. Outside of counseling, I love animals and have five pets! In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and trying new recipes.
